ENS Two-Factor Authentication

Your security is of utmost importance in the ENS Advertiser Center and the broader ENS ecosystem. To ensure you're protected from scams, phishing attacks, malware, and unauthorized access, ENS has implemented several robust security measures. These include:

  • Username and password

  • Email and password

  • Email + One-Time Password (OTP)

  • Email + phone number + OTP + password

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Session monitoring and activity protection

These layers combine to safeguard your accounts, campaigns, and data. Among these, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is one of the most effective methods for protecting your ENS Advertiser Center account.

Why Extra Security Is Important

In today's digital landscape, relying solely on passwords is insufficient. Accounts can be compromised through various means, such as:

  • Phishing links

  • Password leaks from other websites

  • Malware or spyware

  • Guessable or reused passwords

  • Social engineering scams

Even the strongest password can be exposed without your knowledge. Two-Factor Authentication mitigates this risk by requiring an additional verification step that only you can generate on a trusted mobile device. This added layer is crucial for advertisers managing campaigns, payments, analytics, and sensitive data.

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

2FA requires two components during login:

  1. Something known: Password

  2. Something owned: Mobile device with an authenticator app

The authenticator app generates a new 6-digit code every 30 seconds, which is necessary for account access—even if your password is compromised.

Step 1 — Install an Authenticator App

Before enabling 2FA, install one of the following apps on your mobile device:

  • Google Authenticator (Android / iPhone)

  • Microsoft Authenticator

  • Authy

These apps operate offline and do not require internet connectivity to generate codes.

Step 2 — Access 2FA Settings in ENS

  1. Visit: ads.enslive.live

  2. Log in to your account

  3. Click the profile icon (top right corner)

  4. Go to Security

  5. Select Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

The system will provide a secure QR code, an OTP secret key, and six unique backup codes.

Step 3 — Connect the Authenticator App

Open your authenticator app and either:

  • Scan the QR code displayed on the ENS screen

  • Manually enter the OTP secret key if scanning is unavailable

The app will begin generating 6-digit codes for your ENS account immediately.

Step 4 — Save the Backup Codes (Very Important)

Backup codes grant account access in cases like:

  • Loss of phone

  • App deletion

  • Device change

Remember, these codes are displayed only once and cannot be retrieved later, so store them safely, ideally not on the same phone.

Step 5 — Verify and Activate

Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app into the verification field on ENS. After successful entry, Two-Factor Authentication will be activated.

What Happens After 2FA is Enabled?

Each login attempt will now require:

  1. Your password

  2. A 6-digit code from the authenticator app

Access without this code is impossible, thus significantly enhancing security.

Key Benefits of 2FA

  • Prevents unauthorized access

  • Protects campaigns and payments

  • Stops hackers even if passwords are exposed

  • Adds a robust extra layer of ENS security

  • Functions without an internet connection

With 2FA enabled, your account benefits from sophisticated ENS security controls, providing the highest level of protection for your data, campaigns, and account access. Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out through the ENS support help center.
